Dude been the poster boy for mediocrity for a good decade with the Raiders and the Saints looked at that and were like: "Yep, we wanna SIGN UP for some of that!". Honestly just feels like a signing to save some jobs for a few years since the state of the NFCS is so terrible that even just mediocre QB play likely makes you the division favorite by default. Saints FO saw how the other teams in their division had no QB so they hoped they could buy a few more seasons of job security by winning the division a couple times.
