Per PFF, we finished the season with:

2nd worst RB (backup)

2nd worst Tackle (starter)

The 5th and 6th worst guards (starters)

The worst Center (starter)

The 3rd worst Edge rusher (backup)

The 4th best Safety

And best interior defender

in the NFL. 4/5 offensive linemen were in the top 6 WORST players at their positions in the entire NFL. That has to get fixed this offseason. Has to. Also, we don't have enough talent to be able to afford to let a guy like McKinney walk. Offer him a big money contract and keep him.

Most likely, he becomes a HC somewhere else. I think he'd do well in Atlanta, honestly. That was a half joking dream suggestion I made originally.

Nah - at 70 I think he’s done if he doesn’t stay in NE.  (And yeah I figured, haha)

Such a mess although I'm not sure how much I trust Pat Leonard on this. The whole story to me just feels like it came from "sources" sympathetic to Wink. Replacing two coordinators won't be easy but if they promote Henderson to DC at least there is some continuity on D. I'd honestly just prefer Daboll called the offense at this point. If he truly is undermining and taking control away from the OC then he just needs to take it over or find a guy he trusts to do it. If Kafka does leave this makes what.. 4 different OC's for Jones? (Shula, Garrett, Kafka)? Man I hate being stuck in the ruts like this. I really thought last year was a breakout for us going forward.

Dan Duggan was discussing it today. He mentioned that he couldn’t confirm the exact details, but did say there were issues with Kafka and Daboll. He did mention to take into account the source and potential axes to grind when looking at all stories such as this. Good listen.
