Jakuvious
Just going to start dumping some of my favorite stuff from the past 2 days in here, if that's cool with everybody.
Jakuvious
Just the absolute audacity to even attempt to take on these blocks. EDIT: Someone already posted this, but I don't care lol.

Jakuvious
And he's maybe the 4th best player in that draft class so far.
Jakuvious
Trent Williams is one of the best OL I've ever seen, and I think he probably has no idea where our defenders got the gall to attack him like this.

Trent Williams is almost 36. He was one of the best but he's past his prime. Pennel is not much younger, but he's seen Trent's better years. Watch it in slow motion ... and carefully watch Creed Humphrey and Trey Smith - where they are when Mahomes releases the ball. but ...as of now the play stands and the Chiefs still won ... Call it a wash with the throwback to McCaffery where their lineman was 15 yards downfield.

As long as you start blocking at the LOS linemen can be downfield, and they were both blocking well, that way I learned a bit about a rule I was not aware of. So far I thought OL can't be downfield in any case during a forward pass. Edited February 15 by KC_Guy

I actually thought that too, and a double team block might be pushing it, but not according to these refs. they let both teams play

Brady never did three straight and no one has won four before age 31 (Bradshaw). After four there is only Brady. The word on the street was that 2023 was the year to "get" the Chiefs. Their WR room was a mess and the offense never jelled. The defense did jell and we saw what happened. For 2024, the team would like to re-sign both Chris Jones and L'Jarius Sneed. That seems unlikely, so a key element of the D may be gone. Still, there are no whole units that need a rebuild like the OL in 2021, CB in 2022, or WR in 2023. Still, there are no whole units that need a rebuild like the OL in 2021, CB in 2022, or WR in 2023. and I think they got decend depth at those critical positions to start with. Yes, they need another WR. But Justin Watson, Skye Moore are in the background - at minimum. Yes, it is hard to replace Chris Jones. Pennel? That unspellable DE? The DL is probably the unit needing most attention with a lot of guys on expiring contracts. DB - McDuffie, Conner, Cook (back from IR), Reid, Watson, Williams ... there are shabbier units out there. LB should be fine, RB is plug and play. TE - another year or more of Kelce with Gray and Fortson in the mix ... OL - they need a T other than that .. fine. Big turnover will happen next year when the whole unit may fall apart. Gotta consider this this year already to maintain continuity! If I had to choose two big name free agent deals: Sneed and Jones both on 5 year three digit deals with an out option after three years. After that: WR. Keeping Nnadi may be nice if affordable. And for the draft beef up on (in that order): OL, WR, DL, DB Edited February 17 by KC_Guy
