Personally, I don't hate the Cooper pick in R2 but he's very likely to be a backup as a rookie. Why would we take another DT? I feel like we need to take a CB with size & a WR higher. I would start Edgerrin Cooper over Jamin Davis in a heartbeat if I had the choice. Ruke Orhorhoro was a BPA pick. He was easily the highest rated player and it would give us the option to move on from a high priced vet or admit the mistake and get rid of Phidarian Mathis. I have watched enough of Cooper to know the guy will be a stud. Just my opinion, don't expect others to agree. As for Jamin Davis, I think converting him into a "think less/play more" is likely his last chance and hopefully Quinn can get every bit of potential out.
