2024 Schedule Release - Week 1 vs NYJ on MNF - No UK game

Recommended Posts

Yeah, I hate the two TNF games and the rest differential once again sucks but overall the schedule isn't all too bad. Another season where we need to start out fast and to a 5-1 or so start. I think we beat the Chiefs at home but then lose to the Rams once and possibly another divisional loss.

13-4 is likely needed to get the #1 seed and I think we finish with that very record.

Thursday football sucks.  They should have 18 games, 2 preseason games, and 2 bye weeks.  Larger rosters and more active players on game day.

This is the time of year where I think I know stuff, but really I don't.  The rest thing kinda sucks this year.  It looks like we avoided cold weather road games, so that's a positive.

16 games was perfect. I get the 17th game from a scheduling standpoint because we play KC this year as our 17th game. There is no reason to go to 18. Just add another bye week and be done with it. People still watch football when their team isnt playing.

I'm curious how the players would feel about 2 bye weeks now. When they tried it back in 92 or 93 or whatever year it was, the players kind of hated it.

But now there would be 2 more games so there's a longer  start to finish time. It's also 30 years later and we know more about the advantages of rest and I think players are far more in on their nutrition, workouts, etc.
