You just said his trade value is bad because of contract lol…. which is it? His contract is not an issue and he’s still, at minimum, a Top 4 WR in the NFL. Only guys I’d put above Adams are JJeff, Tyreek, and Nico. He has had no QB for years but his analytics and film are still prime Davante Adams. Which means, I would be willing to go a pick higher than I normally would. I would be willing to offer 2nd & a 4th in 25' for their 3rd rounder, 6th rounder & Devonte Adams. Commanders 2025 NFL Draft picks after John Ridgeway III trade & hypothetical trade for Adams. Same with those 6th rounders. I'm hoping we get an even better deal, than what I offered. Peters is an excellent negotiater & I believe he can. But rest assured.... Adams gonna be better value, than Jahan Dotson. How much? I don't exactly know, with his age & contract as part of those negotiations. But if we land him? Our Offense just might be Superbowl caliber. I was more implying that a restructure would likely happen before a trade was facilitated (causing Cap against LV/essentially eating contract to boost return). Commanders have a ton of cap, they are one of the few teams that could take the hit, but I am pretty sure with the amount of cap space, they’re playing the long game and plan to roll it over into next year. His trade value and his value are not equal, IMO. I also don't have Adams in my top 5. He's not far out of it, but I think Jefferson, Chase, Hill, St. Brown, Collins and Brown are ahead of him.
