He missed a lot of training camp but having him getting up to speed now could really pay off with such a long stretch of games ahead. He mentioned there is not a guarantee he would make it to the active roster this year unless he shows steady improvement. It was kind of nasty. The only thing we can do now is wait and hope for the best.
