Part of it is the ice conditions and part of it is the pressure that they've put on themselves. They just need to settle down. Rachel is the best woman curler in the world and she's very young by curling standards. She will have 3 or 4 more chances at an Olympic gold if she doesn't win here. mse326 Posted February 21, 2018 Share Posted February 21, 2018 Women Cross Country GOLD!!!!!!! USA women had never won a medal (men only have one). Jessie Diggins and Kikkan Randall just won gold in the team sprint. Randall did a lot better than I expected in keeping contact with Norway and Sweden as the first skiier. But Jessie Diggins was an absolute beast in the semis and finals taking it to the big boys every circuit then outsprinting the sprint gold medalist.
