Alshon Played with a Torn Rotator Cuff

Good read on how Alshon was able to play through the injury.

“I had mentioned to him in the offseason about coming out every once in a while, but once I hurt my shoulder, I was like, nah, every once in a while maybe ain’t going to cut it,” Jeffery said before the Super Bowl. “I couldn't lift my shoulder up at one point. I don’t know what he did, but I was able to lift my arm to catch a ball.”

The funny thing is this fanbase has been asking for a big bodied, physical receiver for over a decade. We kept getting DeSean, Maclin, Jordan Matthews, Agholor, etc. who are good at what they did/do and are fine players in their own respects but they aren't #1 receivers. The first year we get one since TO and we win the Super Bowl.

Elliot Shor Parks owes this man an apology.  I was convinced Alshon was the correct route to take.  The way he catches the ball, its just pure hands.

ESP is such a tool. I called him out on the “Alshon isn’t a #1 WR” theory numerous times. He’s a click bait specialist, nothing more. Rarely breaks news, just uses emojis and sorry opinions too often.
