titans0021
Well, camp opened last Friday. So here we are. As always, if you feel a subject or topic warrants it's own thread, feel free to start one. This is mainly just a place to keep the general daily conversation that comes with your average camp stories/tweets/videos. Who are you most looking forward to seeing heading into the first preseason game? With Davis out, I'm fascinated by how they'll treat Taylor. I figured he'd be in line for a good amount of reps in the preseason, but it's possible they'll be a lot more conservative with him if there's a chance he's going to play a big role in the regular season. deeluxx3
Good read from a typically worthless LaCanfora Quote There's an interesting mix of forward-thinking, progressive decision-makers like Robinson, and totally old-school coaches like offensive line guru Russ Grimm. Grimm, a former member of Washington's esteemed line dubbed "The Hogs," made a decisive impact with this young group last year (rookie Jack Conklin played at an All-Pro level, for instance). The hiring was slept on nationally, but it is one of the key reasons why what used to be an organizational deficiency that left Mariota vulnerable is now a strength. "He has an old-school approach and he certainly works on technique and teaches them footwork," Robinson said, "but he doesn't harp on, 'Your foot is at 48 degrees and it's supposed to be at 45 degrees.' He doesn't get caught up in all of the minutia; he just works like, 'Get your guy, get on him, block him, take him off the line of scrimmage. Set him, punch him back, don't let him get on the quarterback.' He keeps it simple for them and lets them have fun playing football. He's been a very, very key piece in that offense and that whole room coming together." "They're a bunch of studs," Mariota said of his offensive line. "That's probably one of the best groups in the league, and they really feel that way, and they should."
TitanLegend
lol One of the first lines in that article: Marcus Mariota is on track recovering from a knee injury Would have took him 5 seconds to google his actual injury.

titans0021
That just has to be such a weird experience for such a chill, quiet guy.

TitanLegend
Davis injury all but cements that Decker is going to be the 2nd starting receiver alongside Matthews. Probably was on pace to beat Davis straight up anyway.
TitanLegend
Adoree looking good on kick off returns, but has been shaky in coverage so far this camp from what I've seen. Was a play tonight where Matthews made him look stupid on a comeback route. Jackson has a lot to learn.

I think it was always going to be Matthews and Decker in two WR sets with Decker in the slot when Davis came on the field anyways.

And referenced the Cardinals and our guys are babies compared to that staff. But I'm glad that ol' school mindset has mixed well with the players and staff so far. titans0021
Ah man, this is thoroughly disappointing. Looks like the embedding gets screwed up when someone deletes their tweet. The above was a twitter feud between Kuharsky and La Canfora.
