Scouting So I take my first peek at the draft class, and there is one QB with a first round grade. ONE. Seriously? I can use this time to explain my draft tendencies. - I don't bother scouting most OL until the combine, because I like drafting them in rounds 3-6 with high strength and a couple good skills. Since developing OL can be done at once, there isn't the benefit to me to draft them in the early rounds. - I also typically draft interior DL as well in the mid rounds. I look for plugs and rush from the outside, so I never really have star interior guys, and when I do, I don't pay them. - I like drafting WRs and CBs early because I find they are the hardest to upgrade, so I really want to hit on those picks. - I want fast, athletic off ball linebackers - Tall safeties who can cover This is all what I ideally look for... in this case I can't afford to be too picky. I really am looking to acquire BPA since I can only trade down once in the draft.
