I am really pleased with how this season has gone now. A ton of close losses, couple wins mid way through. Hopefully I can take that momentum through the 2nd half of the season and end with 5 or 6 wins and set myself up for a playoff push next year. Formatting note, I will be removing TIme of Possession from the game stats because every single time the winning team wins ToP, making it irrelevant. And Lehman's leading ROY votes, right? He's gotta be. He is, yeah. He is 10th in AFC OPOY, 1st in OROY. WR Pierce Stanley is 2nd in AFC OROY. If you remember, the LB Ross Arnold that I liked in this past draft is leading in DROY for the Bengals. The two corners I took are 5th and 7th due to the lack of turnovers my defense is generating. My game next week is against the Jets and if I lose, it can effectively eliminate me from division contention if the Dolphins win. The Dolphins lost! We are now tied going into week 17. I have to win, and the Dolphins have to lose. Shredrick Phelps has the best game of his career, with a pick six and a forced fumble and recovery, and it's enough to earn him AFC defensive player of the week. After starting the year off 0-5, I never thought w would have a shot at winning the division. Even if we don't, this year exceeded my expectations and Bill Butthole will be very pleased. I attribute this excellent 2nd half of the year to the development of this young secondary. Phelps is now 88 ovr, and rookies Carrington Graham and Lester Beck are 86 and 85 respectively.
