More Jack Finley pimping on my part...

He was nearly a PPG player yet he rarely got PP time. He was 24th in the WHL in ES Points and was 10th in ES assists. He's also one of the youngest prospects in this draft while also being a complete two way player and a pure center. I don't get why Pronman left him off at all. He's in my top 50.

I'm about to post my top 50. If you think 41 is too high for him...let me introduce you to the BK way LOL.

Lol I think that's where the size becomes a concern. The skill is there to be taken that high, but I don't like him quiiiiiiiite as much as I liked Nils hoglander.

I didn't see Zayde Wisdom on his list, but now I'm trying to read from the phone

I like that you have Amirov that high. We talked about him in HF... He was on my short list at 17 (I figured if we picked at 10 we'd have someone in the board I liked just a bit more), but really digging him

I'm not that high on mukhamadullin though.

He was not on his list, you are correct.

Then I'll take that as my omission now lol.

More of an upside call. One of the younger players, and I think he's going to grow more physically

I'm surprised you pointed out Mukhamadullin and not Wallinder. They have their warts but I love what they can do at their respective sizes so that gave them a huge bump for me compared to others. I'm sure a most people would have Andrae and Cormier above both but Andrae's size scares me. I probably undervalue Cormier compared to Muk/Wallinder but the size disparity is what separates them for me. I know size isn't everything but, if I'm taking a chance on a dman with warts in their own zones, I'm going with the bigger guy 95% of the time unless the offense is off the charts better from the other guy. I guess you could make a case that Cormier's offense completely trumps both of the big guys but they both have shown enough that I don't think they'll be offensive liabilities at all.

He's risky but the upside is there. I'd be more than fine taking him with the Arizona pick if it falls out of the top 10. I'd prefer Mysak but I wouldn't be upset with Amirov.

Outside of the top 10, there's marginal differences in how I feel about guys grouped in the same areas. Ask me tomorrow and I could have Jarvis at 11 over both Mysak & Amirov. There's really no clear lean either way with players separated by only a few spots. If they are grouped near each other, odds are I like them equally. It's when you get 5-7 spots apart is when I start placing them in different tiers.

I feel like a lot of people are getting more and more on the wallinder bandwagon (well, you know, except pronman apparently). A guy at that size who skates that well will always be well liked. A little too much cockiness in his game at times, and there's a lot of projection, but I 100% get it.

Mukhamadullin's got a long way to go mentally.

I do like that you had them close. I would rank them fairly close to one another, I think

That's why I really wanted that Arizona pick to be in that 10 spot. Felt really good about getting someone from my good tier before the drop off

I feel like, at 10, we'd take someone from that lower tier regardless. I don't see us taking Askarov. I think Seth Jarvis fits what we do the most out of everyone in that tier. He can flat out score, he skates really well and he's a RW, which we are sorely lacking in the system. Quinn has been the guy we've pegged but Jarvis is the far better skater so, assuming Fitzgerald has a similar philosophy and we retain Castron, Jarvis seems like he'd be the guy.
