As a Patriots fan, this is difficult to predict because there's nearly always a disconnect between what the front office are looking for and what the casual fan wants. There's a whole bunch of directions we could go for here. 

My board here:-

* Maurice Hurst - possibly best player on the board, iffy scheme fit - but would add a whole different dimension to the defensive line

* Taven Bryan - the most athletically intriguing player at a position of need, but would probably be nothing more than a 3rd down inside rusher in New England

* Jaire Alexander - Smaller corner, who is a little scheme diverse and can track the smaller more nimble receivers opposite Gilmore returns kicks which BB loves

* Mike Hughes - The B option to Alexander, eerily similar skill-set

* Rashaan Evans - We need linebacker help in the worst way, just difficult to visualize him in our scheme

* Ronnie Harrison - Team would love his size and versatility at the back end, New England have been getting by with smaller safeties for too long

 

Who I think the Pats will have on theirs:-

* Ronnie Harrison - Will love his versatility at the back end

* Kolton Miller - Size and athleticism, very spotty tape - but not a dissimilar prospect to the guy who just left for NY

* Connor Williams - Definitely in the mix if they see him as a tackle

* Lorenzo Carter - Could stick him at a number of spots, never been afraid of size at linebacker 

* Sam Hubbard - BB loves his maxed out guys

* Harrison Phillips - Another run stuffer in the middle, why not? BB can never have too many

* Some guy nobody else has thought about

* Trade down

For the sake of this poll and the way it works, Rashaan Evans pick 1 and Connor Williams pick 2. After that: 3. Justin Reid, 4. Mason Rudolph, 5. Lorenzo Carter, 6. Maurice Hurst, 7. Hayden Hurst

 

The Pats will have Derrius Guice highly valued too I think. I'm not as interested in that potential pick but I figured it was worth sharing.

I'd be very sad if we passed on Alexander. If the board fell this way, however, then I'd be all for trading down.
