oh i forgot we can't make rational deductions based on the last decade of incompetence and have to assume based on hope the team gets better despite doing nothing to do so

Thank you for your understanding. See, that was easy.

Branden Albert has made it impossible for the Jaguars to win. This is possibly the worst trade in franchise history.

Nowhere near the worst trade in franchise history.

Here is a counter-argument by PFT:

I am not usually big on PFT, but this kind of thing is where Mike Florio is usually pretty spot on.

So the worse case scenario is: The Jaguars cut Albert and get there 3.4 million back over the next two years and keep the draft pick (as long as he's cut before week 3). Albert gets a chance to go play elsewhere and get that contract that he was looking for and he balls out and has a great year, while the Jaguars O-line sucks, especially LT, and people say it was stupid of us to let Albert go.

Another scenario, Jags cut him and get their money, and Albert is unable to find a job elsewhere because he get's black balled because of the situation, or he does catch on elsewhere, but completely stinks it up.

I believe the latter is more likely.
