He knocked the ball out of its spin which cause Griezmann to miscontrol it. Contact was long after the ball was gone. Miscontrol? Had he not been brought down he likely would’ve gotten there. He clipped his trailing leg.
LeeEvans
Wow. That was the first bit of good play France has had since I've started watching. Heartbreaking for Australia.

UKTexans
He hits the ball a solid 8-10 yards ahead of him. At best it's 50/50 with Matt Ryan.

Their energy, workfare and desire is infectious. The French are lethargic. Nope. If an Australian player plays a ball and squanders an attack. It’s “unlucky”. France does it “so poor”. Yes there is a difference in quality but they’re still pretty professional players who should be equally criticised equally for doing something any of us could do. There’s a clear bias

Before he’s contacted he had a great shot getting there. Pause it at the moment where Griezmann is contacted. And you see it is nowhere near 8-10 yards. LeeEvans
I know Giroud looks out of place with all the stars in the France squad but hes so good. His hold up and linking play is brilliant and hes one of the few people who shows energy and a bit of passion.

There’s a clear bias Lloris - top 5 gk Varane & Umtiti - real and barca Pogba - £90m Kante - best dm Dembele, Griezmann, Mbappe - combined £400m Vs Nabbout - J league Rogic - Celtic Jedinak - Aston Villa Milligan - Al Ahli Risdon - A league Then a bunch of lower league Germany and England players Yeah very comparable lmao

Haha when he's tripped over the ball is at least 6 yards ahead of him. Look at the advertising board. Griezmann is at the H and the ball is is at the second S in Hisense. Buc Ball
When you’re there in person you notice the difference in technical ability so much more than when you’re watching on TV. Plus, France have been garbage and deserve to be roasted for this performance.
