Matts4313 Posted October 7, 2018 Share Posted October 7, 2018 I have only seen one blind side punch ever in my life. A dude was beating up one of our WRs in the bathroom and our LG heard about it, pursued, and clocked the dude. I only caught the final punch, nothing else. But having seen a dude get rocked by a haymaker they werent expecting made me appreciate how dangerous that is. Our LG put a literal dent in the dudes head. He went to sleep. I am not exaggerating. There are other angles to the incident which show McGregor jumping onto the top of the fence and punching one of Khabib’s team. It’s at the same time Khabib jumps out of the cage. Dude had been picking on some kid who clearly had anger issues due to a terrible home situation. Just a kid who really, really didn’t need the bullying and really, really wasn’t gonna take it. Walked up behind him and just went full haymaker to the side of the head/jaw area. Dudes knees buckled and he was just a pile of meat and bones. His friends tried to warn him but were too slow. They kinda half heartedly jumped on the kid that threw the sucker punch but didn’t really do anything to him. Just shoved him around and landed a few glancing punches. PE teacher didn’t give a ****. Lol He just made sure the kid was OK and sent him to the nurse. Dome Posted October 7, 2018 Share Posted October 7, 2018 So this dumb lady I work with (the one who said LED lights don’t require a power source) just tried telling a bunch of us she was at the Connor McGregor fight. I knew it was horse crap and without even thinking blurted out “You were there? Where was it?” In a pretty accusatory tone she asked me “What?” Clearly just buying time. I asked again just to clarify “You were at the fight?” She says “Yeah. Police were there and everything, it was crazy.” So I asked again “Where was it?” she paused for a long time and said “well I don’t know where the actual fight was. We were at a different casino watching it on the big screen” i spent about 5 minutes chewing her out for being so dumb and lying to people and she stuck by her story that to her that’s technically being there. Looks like it was pretty already a full blown melee at that point wasn’t it? If I saw some dude going after my teammate I’d probably take a shot at some of his teammates as well. Definitely doesn’t make it right at all, but for me it makes it understandable. I don’t really care if he hit that guy first cause it was a disaster well before that anyways. *totally out of the loop of what happenedleading up to the fight.
