TedLavie Posted November 14, 2018 Share Posted November 14, 2018 Ok this was a close one to me. I firmly believe that OL dictates the quality of a running game. OKC OL isn't really good in that facet save from the notable exception of Hudson. On the other hand Gordon is doing it this year with a weak OL too and IC linebackers are not on a BDL level, so I can see OKC heavy run work. I also like their RBs in the passing game. I think the combo of IC DL (shifting protection to the right can lead to 1vs1 matchups for Tomlinson, I don't love it) + corners limits OKC passing game, though I'd have preferred more man than zone as I believe IC could have held OKC wideouts in man. On the other hand OKC heavy front limits Chubb and that left side of IC OL will get Luck under heavy pressure. OKC wins 23-17 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
