Lol you guys think this is about anything other than getting Cano back in NY to sell a few more tickets. You're funny.

The fact that you have to actually make a baseball move beyond just showing up to sell tickets in New York means we're talking about decades of dip****tery.

Wasn't happy with the rumors the last few days regarding Diaz being added to move Cano, but if we get 2 top 100 prospects in the deal I can't complain.

Bruce has his deal expire 3 years earlier, so the amount we're covering on Cano will probably be relatively substantial. 40-50% of his deal seems likely.

Supposedly Gerson Bautista and not Justin Dunn.

EDIT- Nevermind. Dunn is still in it but so is Bautista. This is wild.

Bautista instead of McNeil apparently.

Not sure how you swap those 2 and the deal remains the same. Goes from a win for the M's to kinda bad if we are eating any of the Cano deal.

If that's the case, Mets are getting steal. They could flip Diaz at a trade deadline and recoup their prospects.

With the Mets rotation and now bullpen, it wouldn't take much offense to make them a viable contender in the NL East.

A normal billionaire owner would have, you know, made sure the area they built their taj mahal stadium less then a decade ago was able to be built on.

There are chop shops, no ****, within eye view from the parking lot. And it is owned by a man who made his fortune IN NEW YORK REAL ESTATE. You've no idea the depths to which the franchise is just absolutely dysfunctional. Jeff Wilpon is a walking harassment claim.

Idk if it’s fair to blame the Wilpons for Flushing Meadows/Corona being ****ty. That place has never recovered since the Fair ended and there’s endless bureaucratic nonsense blocking redevelopment.

To me, the fact that Bruce would be in the deal as a counterweight means you wouldn't be covering any of the money on Cano's deal.
