Tugboat Posted December 15, 2017 Share Posted December 15, 2017 You need depth and guys who can step up at so many positions, even on defense anyway. They've been remarkably healthy this year. That isn't always going to be the case, so having at least developmental starter quality guys waiting in the wings at already strong positions isn't all that bad an idea really. Lewis and rivera are both not that great at pass catching. id like to see if lewis would restructure and let him retire as a guy whos played for only the jags. Nortman has been kinda inconsistent this year and i dont really think hes worth 2.3 million atleast without giving him some real camp challenges.
