100%. I agree, but I’d put the odds at near zero percent that they’d throw in Scherff.

Totally agree. Why would a team trade up for a QB to trade a good OLineman to block for him. Just doesn’t make sense

Exactly. They’re not going to create a massive whole. It’s one thing to toss in a rotational player, but not a key one. Like if you told me that Cincy was trading up and throwing in a guy like Carl Lawson, that’s possible given how much depth they have at edge.

Btw, it’s worth noting that trade ups in the first round involving players are exceptionally rare. The last one was the Sanchez deal if I’m not mistaken.

Last real players did you try to tell us? lol.  Jets dumped jokers to Browns for top 5.  Unreal.

NFL passed that PI calls can be reviewed now. More of a reason IMO to not value secondary. Bc they literally touch the WR every play and it will be hard once under review to argue the CB didn’t interfere with the WR.

Like I’ve preached for years... it’s an offense league and teams need to adapt to the rule changes.

No doubt there are going to be more challenges this year. The league needs to set guidelines or change the rules back to when they allowed some CB contact, otherwise I can see the last two minutes of a close game lasting an hour.

So I finished the TCMD in the GM Mock Drafts Forum and here's my final roster

New York Jets Football Club

QB- Sam Darnold/Davis Webb

RB- Le'Veon Bell/Benny Snell/Bilal Powell/Elijah McGuire/Trenton Cannon

FB

WR- Quincy Enunwa/Deontay Burnett/LilJordan Humphrey

WR- Robby Anderson/Andre Roberts/Charone Peake

TE- Chris Herndon/Jordan Leggett/Eric Tomlinson

LT- Kelvin Beachum/Benjamin Braden

LG- Kelechi Osemele/Connor McGovern

C-  Joe Looney/Jonotthan Harrison/

RG- Brian Winters/Alex Bars/Jordan Morgan

RT- Brandon Shell/Dieugot Joseph

DE- Leonard Williams/Charles Tapper/Bronson Kaufusi

NT- Foley Fatukasi

DT- Nathan Shephard/

OLB- Anthony Barr/Frankie Luvu/Tarrell Basham

MLB- Avery Williamson

WLB- Darron Lee

OLB- Josh Allen/Jordan Jenkins

CB- Trumaine Johnson/Derrick Jones/Jeremy Clark

SS- Jamal Adams/Brandon Bryant

FS- Marcus Maye/Doug Middleton

CB- Morris Claiborne/Bryce Callahan/Parry Nickerson/Rashard Robinson/

K- Jason Myers

P- Lac Edwards

LS- Thomas Hennessy

KR- Andre Roberts/Trenton Cannon

PR- Andre Roberts/Trenton Cannon

Here's my draft

With the number 3 pick in the 1ST round the New York Jets select: Josh Allen, OLB
With the number 4 pick in the 3RD round the New York Jets select: *Connor McGovern, OG
With the number 30 pick in the 3RD round the New York Jets select: *LilJordan Humphrey, WR
With the number 3 pick in the 4TH round the New York Jets select: *Benny Snell Jr., RB
With the number 3 pick in the 7TH round the New York Jets select: Alex Bars, OG

Would have liked to add another DL, WR and a better Center but overall I like the added OL depth on the interior, EDGE rush, RBs and upgrade in the slot.

Not to pass judgement, but we will not have Barr, Callahan, Myers or Roberts. They have all signed with different teams.
