drfrey13
Figured I would do this and one more before the draft. Limited on time so there will not be a lot of explanations but feel free to discuss, criticize, or say good job. FA Adam Humphries (WR) accepted your 4 year offer for $7,000,000 per year Trenton Brown (OT) accepted your 5 year offer for $14,500,000 per year Trey Flowers (EDGE) accepted your 5 year offer for $12,500,000 per year Denzel Perryman (LB) accepted your 5 year offer for $8,500,000 per year Le'Veon Bell (RB) accepted your 5 year offer for $14,400,000 per year Darqueze Dennard (CB) accepted your 3 year offer for $9,500,000 per year Steven Nelson (CB) accepted your 4 year offer for $6,500,000 per year Draft 4: R1P4 EDGE JOSH ALLEN KENTUCKY Insert Montez Sweat here if you like. Q was gone so without a trade back I will pick the best DE/Edge 24: R1P24 LB DEVIN WHITE LSU Do not know how but I will not argue with the computer. BayRaider
Would be amazing but these computer mocks are useless and these players don’t fall. Can’t wait for FA and the draft!
Blazer026
Would be a great draft, but I don't see any chance of most of those players falling.

If I could do trades I was thinking about trading down from 4 to 6 getting Sweat, draft Bush at 24, Lawrence at 27, combining the draft capital from the trade down with 35 to take either Iowa TE. This is a much more possible draft and we still end up with a great edge, LBer, NT, and TE. I actually think that Sweat might put on some weight before his pro day and get in the conversation with Allen. I do not know if Sweat just has a hard time putting on weight but he looks like he skips leg day a couple times a week.
RaidersAreOne
I don't think a single player will be there where you are picking them. It would be an A+ off season but there's no way we bring in that many big names and that prospect pool. Like the effort though.

Can’t wait for FA and the draft! Some players fall every year. Hurst is a prime example. Simmons could fall or just barely get out of the 1st. If he is a top ten talent taking him at 27 would be a smart move since we are not trying to make the playoffs next year. Would be like trading 27th this year for 2 late firsts next year value wise. I would seriously consider him at 35 and not question at 66.
Rolni
Sorry mate, but it is just super unrealistic IMO...the draft I mean, since you did with a draft gen. it is not on you Allen and maybe Dexter are realistic, but the rest is pipedream IMO...I can't understand why are these draft simulators this bad... On the FA moves: -I don't like the 14,5M for Brown... way too much for an unproven "system" OT IMO
drfrey13
So on the subject of mock drafts and players dropping I took a random mock draft done less than a week before the draft and compared the top 50 players taken in the draft. There were 7 players that dropped more than ten places and ten players that were taken at least ten places earlier than expected. Also 4 early second round choices were not even in the top 100 of the mock draft. There were also players like Hurst and Key that were projected to go in the early 2nd that feel outside of the top 50 selected. I hope we keep that trend going. Also the top 8 players that fell were projected to be 1st rounders and 2 were projected top 15 picks. This mock got just under 50% of the picks within 5 picks of the actual choice so this was a fairly accurate mock.

drfrey13
There was a few options when it came to the o line. I was 99.9% positive that they needed to do something and this was the option I liked the most because we spend more but also moves Miller to the RT where I believe he fits better. I thought for sure that when we drafted Miller and Parker that Parker was going to sit behind Penn to be the LTOTF and Miller would be a beast at RT after a year or two. Would have rather drafted a few other players last year ahead of him but understood why they felt the need to do it the way they did.
Rolni
But the thing now is we either paid LT money to a RT or we will now move over our young LT to RT and hope he can develope there fast. He admited that he struggled with the side switch in college... We had Penn last year, so I can't really understand why didn't they put Miller at RT then, if that is his best position... Cable and Gruden seems to be totally uncapable to put together a working OL...without that Carr is screwed and AB's arrival will mean pretty much nothing... I think Cable when designing his line looks to optimize the run game first and is willing to sacrifice pass protection. It is smart to make sure you have a good run game but in the league now you can not sacrifice pass pro. Just like Carr Cable had to deal with injuries and not being at full strength but he made to questionable decisions especially if they listened to him about trading up for Parker. If it was going to be a RT Orlando Brown should have been the pick. Miller's issue I believe was moving from RT to LT. He was a much better RT at UCLA but got hurt 2 years in a row. He moved to LT his last year and we were desperate to get a LT and he had the measurables. His play on the field did not warrant a first round selection. He is comparable to Lane Johnson in his movement skills. He is a little bit bigger but has less straight line speed. Both had some of the same concerns coming out also. In all actuality Penn was supposed to start at LT while Miller sat the bench trained and learned for a season. Penn got injured early and that forced the Raiders to start Miller. The Raiders knew that Miller was a raw prospect, I think because of that no one knows where he'll play on the line next year but I can imagine that they still want him to be the LTotF.
