firstdown
Davante Adams was the 5th fastest ball carrier last week. 20.68 MPH. And you thought MVS was fast. https://www.raiders.com/video/nfln-5-fastest-players-of-week-4?campaign=fb-share&fbclid=IwAR2y8RcM7UeCqh__824Z3pDN4FYnQWwXaJ0IfUsBan-Wx0bXDEg775DyLHA
AlexGreen#20
This is the dumbest way of measuring players speed. It only measures when they have the ball, and unless they're getting a 20 yard straight run, they don't get up to full speed. The number of times that happens in an NFL week is very limited. Allison, who everybody complains about being slow as hell, got clocked at 20.13 last year. https://www.google.com/amp/s/packerswire.usatoday.com/2018/09/25/packers-wr-geronimo-allison-creates-one-of-nfls-fastest-tds-in-week-3/amp/
waterfish_21
Damn thats fast, my eyes hurt!
ThatJerkDave
Considering he scored 0 TDs, does that mean that at least 1 Philly defender was faster than him?

It's just another way of figuring out who's fast. If you can't separate and get into open space with the ball, then you won't get clocked at all. Seems fair to me. Allison has made the top 20 fastest list (per week) only once in the last three years. Allison doesn't very often separate and get behind the defender, unless there's a breakdown in the defense. Davante routinely makes the top twenty weekly list 2 or 3 times per year, MVS made it 4 or 5 times last year. Our former receiver Davis has also made the list numerous times. Davis was the 2nd fastest last week at 21.68 MPH. ESB has never made it, and I doubt that Kumerow or Shepard ever will either.
