Madden 20 Franchise - PATCH FIXED IT - WE'RE BACK!

Might not have been the greatest draft but I think it went in your favor. Filled your needs and future needs and still landed a hidden dev QB in the process. 4th round hidden dev WR is good too.

87spd for that CB probably isn’t too hateful in a sim. Unless he was terrible at zone he’d probably be a good fit at FS. Either way he’s going to become a beast for the Redskins since he’s an xfactor.

Ya I honestly thought either MLB Burney or that CB were going to fall into the 8-10 range, which would have been a lot easier to trade up to.  I wasn't willing to trade 3 firsts for one player.  I know I just won the SB but I needed a lot of new depth so i didn't want to lose a lot of picks.

So Rookie QB Holloway will get a chance to start, but he might have a short lease if he doesn't perform well.

Rathman will start at HB.

Bartell will remain in the slot, with Mckee and Sieczkowski being the primary outside WRs.

No changes to the Oline this year.

Dline remains the same too.

Rookie V Finney will start at LOLB.

Cash and Young are the top CBs, Betts will man the slot again.

Rookie FS Pitts takes over at FS.

CUTS - FINAL 53 ROSTER - YEAR 8

I only have to cut 3 players, if they have PS eligibility left they will head there.

LT P Horne (68) - PS - he very well could get stolen off my PS.

RE Rashaud Dell (62) - PS - Mr. Irrelevant.

RE Garrison Charles (65) - CUT - I drafted a replacement.

I thought Nasty Streak was only for OL?

Threat Detector is probably the best SS ability in the game. If you get it on a team you user, you will have a hard time playing without it.  For those of you who don't know what it does, when an OL has this ability, it will highlight blitzing defenders on 3rd and 4th down.... means you can spotlight them or shift rhe OL accordingly

He's a blocking FB so I guess it applies to him too.

Also I thought the Protective Custody X Factor ability for HB Rathman was extremely lame until I saw that it is activated after running for just 1 positive yard.   That essentially means its always active, and essentially means he will never fumble the football ever.

You have him as a FS in that post hence my confusion!

TRADE DEADLINE UPDATE - YEAR 8

So I'm 4-3 at the deadline, which isn't terrible.  I'm pretty cap strapped though and I can't retain everyone.  Someone who really stands out is WR Jermaine McKee, who was a first round pick of mine and 88 OVR.  He is however only Star dev, which makes him the 4th receiving option behind WR Bartell, WR Sieczkowski, and TE Beachum.  He's the 4th most expensive player on my roster at this time with a $14.8 mil cap hit.

I think the Amari Cooper trade is a good example of a talented former 1st round pick WR exchanging teams.  So I think getting a 1st for McKee is reasonable.

*TRADE*

MIA Dolphins Receive

WR Jermaine McKee (88)

CIN Bengals Receive

Dolphins 2027 1st Round Pick

This trade makes sense for the Dolphins.  They have a young SS X Factor QB on a rookie contract but their top WR is only 78 OVR.  They also have over $50 in cap space to resign McKee.  Trade works great for both sides.
