Fanspeak OTC - 2020

The defense is built on pass rush, but Epenesa is not a slam dunk choice. I can deal with Ruiz. Gladney was gone, but Trevon Diggs is available.

Simpson went #56 and I am definitely not passing on Brooks at #63. After Queen and Murray, he's the best of the ILB and may have a higher upside. He'll need time, but massive growth potential. We just missed on Simpson, Delpit, Anae, Kmet. Someone had to slide and it's a position we want. I take any of those five.

Wilson is a stiff overachiever, which we have that now. We had choice of several TE, a couple of OL and S. .

Again, Biadasz is gone, but I would not have taken him in any event . He's a straightforward power guy, ready to play, but with no upside. Pass even at #138.

Evan Weaver is fine #5. The bottom line is that we need fresh blood in the OL, but we do not need to retool.

Your draft is wishful thinking in some places and long arms in others. I think mine is clearly better. Draft for 2022 not 2020.

Draft Tek Mock draft released today (3/24):

32:  OG  Netane Muti - Fresno State.  6'3" / 315 pounds

63  CB  Bryce Hall - Virginia.  6'1" / 202 pounds

96 OL  Yasir Durant - Missouri.  6'7" / 330 pounds

138  RB  Ke'Shawn Vaughn - Vanderbilt.  5'10" / 214 pounds

177  ILB  Mykal Walker - Fresno State.  6'3" / 230 pounds

I know I'm in the minority, but love seeing O-line picks early. You give Mahomes protection and no defense in the NFL can stop his arm and accuracy.  It also opens up the run game. The Chiefs are set for many years here.  I've watched a bit of tape on Hall and he looks very fluid - still need to do more work.  Overall would be a fan if the draft turned out like this.

I dont mind OL early if its the right player and a big enough need.

Using the new Fantrax Steve list. We get insane value. We get a TE for the future and a whole lot of athleticism for the defense.

32: EDGE ZACK BAUN WISCONSIN
63: DL JUSTIN MADUBUIKE TEXAS A&M
96: TE HARRISON BRYANT FLORIDA ATLANTIC
138: LB JORDYN BROOKS TEXAS TECH
177: G STEVEN GONZALEZ PENN STATE

I could live with that. Baun seems to be the new default choice. I can also live with that.

Steve, big board; Difficult setting

Your best draft so far imo, not sure Ruiz will be there but it would be amazing if he is.
