beekay414
Masterclass by Nunes. Pena's toughness is the only reason this went 5 but she got shutout pretty easily.
agarcia34
That was 25 minutes of pure *** beating. Nunes gave her a dose of reality. Peña tough but clearly out matched. Pure dominance… GOAT

mse326
I know that some will call for a rubber match, but this fight kind of showed it shouldn't. Nunes just wrecked her. I really think the first fight was all about Nunes not taking Pena seriously. Her whole demeanor leading up to and talking about the fight was different than what she usually is. Some chalked it up to being in a different place with her family, but it really seemed like she though Pena was nothing more than a gnat. 1st fight gave her a dose of reality that she may be the GOAT but she still has to try. Pena isn't going to do any better in a 3rd fight.

The commentators kept saying she couldn't train. She got covid, then hurt her knee, then got sick again. She got tired like 6 minutes into the last fight so prob true. beekay414
Yeah, I don't care if you're the champ or not, if you get shut out and suffer multiple 10-8 rounds, get knocked down 3 times in a round, and your only shot is to throw up a prayer submission after repeatedly getting taken down, you have no business getting a rematch. Buckrock101
lost every single round, but I gained respect for Pena from this fight. she was tough as hell, going through those knockdowns and getting beat up on top and never looked close to quitting. her ground game was really dangerous too. she shouldn't mess around with those omoplatas anymore, but she had 2 armbar attempts that were really close. impressive work off her back. good from Nunes but I never felt like she was fully out of danger. her offense out of southpaw was great, but you got the feeling she wasn't that comfortable defensively. still, her gameplan worked, and she definitely made up for the loss in the last fight.
