Part of the death penalty challenge is you can only recruit 1*’s in year one. I have a bunch more  decent ones that’ll probably sign with me but haven’t yet

I wish the transfer portal was real. You could get some awesome grad transfers at Notre Dame.

I apologize for not being more active.  I saw your new dynasty mode and was following, I just have me and the wife both working full time remotely from the house with a 10 month old baby eating up all our time.

I'm sorry for your loss of sleep.

Alex Payne 11 rec 167 yds 15.1 ypc 1 td 28 lg

The Irish all in all played one of their better games, as they should against a 1 win team. BC’s Anthony Brown was unstoppable, breaking an average of two tackles per play and there was nothing the Irish could do about it.

This game was a pleasant surprise as it was as close to neck and neck as the Irish can get to right now. Brian Kelly only said “Don’t count us out for long.” before stepping off the stage. Being able to even compete with any team solely with low talent walk-ons is astounding in itself and may have a bearing on the future when they have actual talent on the roster.

Pittsburgh is one of the worst football teams in college this season, but that didn’t stop them from mauling the Irish. Pitt’s offense wasn’t spectacular, but their defense played phenomenal and the Irish were unable to do the one thing they’ve been able to do right all season: throw the ball.

Irish defensive end doesn’t have the speed to stick with the tight end, but when he catches up he makes his presence felt. This is one of the hardest hits I’ve seen

The Irish played exactly as you would expect unrated non-scholarship walk-ons to play against Wake Forest, and didnt even score for the first time in weeks. This was probably due to Tyty lowering the quarter length to 3 minutes to trudge through the rest of the season.

The Irish really only had one real shot of scoring in the game, but drops killed it

The Irish somehow pulled out a win, which I didn’t expect. They played the game clock to the best of their ability and did just enough to secure a victory. The Irish Defense somehow managed to stop NC State’s offense on the goaline on three occasions and then drove down the field in the final seconds to kick a game winning field goal.

Offseason Recruiting:

No one. The top two targets decided to not play college football since I couldn’t offer them a scholarship. I handed out the maximum scholarships by week 8 or so last season so every prospect lost interest. Bummed I missed out on a 68 ovr CB, 68 ovr ROLB, and 75 ovr FB cause of it.
