S-jax39 Posted October 3, 2017 Share Posted October 3, 2017 Thoughts on the game. Gurley has been amazing. MVP of the first four games. Goff continues to look comfortable. Tavon played a good game. Have to give credit where it is due. Line was great. Our defense is still awful. Wade is making good halftime adjustments but I dont think its smart to rely on those. I think the players just trusted what they were told to do. According to Barwin, he said that the gameplan was there, it's just the players didn't trust it and started doing their own things in the 1st half. They got into the locker room and Wade just told them to trust the gameplan and they came out and did and shutdown the Cowboys. So it really wasn't about adjustments more so it was about trusting the gameplan that was in place. Had the players did that from opening kickoff, the Cowboys wouldn't have had a great 1st half.
