dude they literally called paul george for less of a reaction than porzingis in the first damn quarter. porzingis acted like someone c4'd him in warzone, definitely deserved the tech if pg did

Porzingis also had a legitimate gripe. He got fouled on one end, which they allowed as a block, and then got called for a cleaner block immediately on the other end.

maybe but they should understand that in the playoffs, emotions are heightened.. Use better judgement IMO.

that's real stupid, you call the game the same throughout the year and i'm hoping we all want that. again, i think they should be able to as well, but this is the precedent set and let's hope for some consistency in the league

the refs didn't ruin anything, porzingis acted like a fool twice and is paying the normal consequence. bro do you not watch much nba???

I'M GOING TO DEFEND THE CALL BASED ON MY ARGUMENT THAT THE REFS ARE ALWAYS REALLY, REALLY ****TY. DO YOU WATCH THE NBA? Nice.

right, but once again, they called paul george for a tech on a similar (but less) reaction. if you call pg on that one, you have to call porzingis on his. i don't understand people arguing against this. argue that theyre both weak and i'll agree, but you have to call both and the precedent was set.

Fine. Call both. But don't call the second tech when Morris clearly was the problem. Yes, refs should consider whether or not a guy is getting tossed in those circumstances. It matters. As a casual fan who doesn't care which team wins, I'm tuning in to see a good game. When you toss a star player on weak calls, it makes the game less interesting, and I stop watching.
