Next year is possibly the biggest year of our football lives.

We are 7-3 with holes on our roster. We have some draft capital and possibly some money to spend depending on the nfl manages the cap.

We are losing a lot of defensive starters, and contributors to free agency.

Vernon, Joesph, Sendejo, Goodson, Mitchell, Malcolm Smitj, Larry ogunjobi.

But a lot of them are only middle of the  road type of players.

We have a few decisions to make also, with some contract mainly sheldon richardson. And also Landry and OBJ.

On offense we have another year with Baker on his rookie contract, but by in large we have an intact offensive line and offensive squad.

So next year is our year to punch for a deep play off run.

We need to keep the skeleton of our defense, myles, ward, delphit, harrison, a linebacker or two and improve the unit as well,

And we need to find another receiver. But it should be the year we dreamed of from the pain of 2016-17.

Only ppl worth keeping are Ogun Goodson and Mitchell. The rest can walk.

yeah they are starters this year but hopefully they are depth players next year.

No decision with OBJ. His contract is going to be fully guaranteed because of the injury. I can live with Richardson if we drsft someone like Marvin Wilson with our 1st

Something else to be enthusiastic about is we have a number of hall of fame level talents on the roster or guys playing at a hall of fame type level.

1. Myles Garrett, nearly averaged a sack a game.

2. Nick Chubb is a beast, he could be a 10k yard rusher if he has a healthy decade.

3. Wyatt Teller of he stays close to the level of play he is at now.

4. OBJ has, in the past been a hof level player.

5. Denzel Ward has the physical talent to be a shut down corner.

The next year or two is big as far as extending contracts, building our roster, and a big quarterback decision obviously ahead. We have some good players that we have to make some decisions about it, and Nick Chubb only has a year left on his deal. We also have some holes that we clearly need to fill out there. We are 7-3. This isn’t a 7-3 team that’s a real contender. We have over achieved. I can see us winning 10-11 games and having really high expectations for 2021. If we don’t improve this roster, we are not going to win as many games next year. We are fortunate to be where we are.
