beekay414 Posted December 29, 2020 Share Posted December 29, 2020 I'm not sure what teams are doing around the league IRT their arena displays but I think they all should have some kind of wall or curtain that closes off the upper levels. It's the depth perception issues an empty arena would cause on shooting may be impacting a lot of these guys. They all shot really well in the bubble but it's totally different shooting in what was basically a rec league gym than it is shooting in a totally vast, empty arena. We see this issue when the Final Four happens too. Obviously those arenas aren't empty but the depth perception of an 80,000 seat football arena is waaaaaaaaay different than a 20,000 seat basketball arena and, in college, more like 10,000 seats arenas.
