A good chance this team will have 11 wins and White has been a contributor. White s skill set reminds me of Van Noy and Hightower. Unfortunately, the good teams neutralized him (Rams, Saints, Chiefs) by sound blitz protection from their backs. White will feast in that regard against the bum teams in the NFL. He played soft zone against the Rams and then goes man single high against the Chiefs. Pretty much the opposite of the rest of the league. There’s footage of Malcolm Brown stonewalling White on multiple plays and he lines up directly behind a OL in a shot gun formation. His leap from year 1 to year 3 is astronomical. Coaching definitely receives credit but Cappa has worked hard getting there. He had that tenacity as an o-lineman but was just undersized to start from what I remember. Amazing he hasn't allowed a sack. We needed a strong interior line and luckily we've had it this year. He came into the league if i remember correctly at like 290-295ish. He looks at least in the 310-315 range or maybe close to the 305 range. I think Wirfs playing lights out every week pretty much shows Smith is the weak link. A rookie with no off season and coaching is playing elite ball right now.
