You’d think. But you’d have also thought that a team trying for Yan would want that deal done before the draft. 🤷♀️ If it takes too long, the Ravens are going to depress their own market on this. I mean, you can wait and see how he does with another year under his belt at LT. I think it’s worse than both of those too. Like you knew that Ramsey was going to make every other CB contract look silly. You knew Tunsil was going to become the top paid LT. They had a sizable track record that already set their market. With those guys, you’re just waiting for when you want the bill to come. Brown, however, hasn’t really shown enough to know what his peak is. He’s a top tier RT, but they’re much cheaper than LTs. He had a really good, not elite, season as a LT. You’re trading for him with the intention that he’s going to become a franchise LT. Lane Johnson contract averages out to 18 million and there's 7 more that make 10 million or more currently. David bahktiari makes 22 million and there's 18 that make 10 million or more.
