minutemancl 1,467
Gettleman is good for at least one of these overpriced backup FA signings per year. Its apparently 'up to' 6 million, so we will see about the real money
Go_Giants 70
Don't like the move, running back is the easiest position to get talent at. He probably could of got better for cheaper if he had waited.
y*so*blu 1,422
I don't see the point of this signing. Couldn't we keep Gallman for similar money, or just draft a guy for less?
Shockwave 610
Yea don't understand this one at all. What does Booker bring that Gallman and Lewis can't do? Is he known as an exceptional blocker in the backfield or something? What am I missing?
Kip Smithers 1,065
Yep Gettleman about to start his questionable FA signing frenzy.

Shockwave 610
I'm reading the Giants expect Gallman to sign elsewhere for higher salary. Think they wanted to keep him but realized that he was out of their price range. So I guess in that sense signing Booker replaces depth. But feel like this is something that could have easily been addressed in the later rounds of the draft or after preseason cuts. But it is what it is. If SB goes down again I guess Booker would be a decent fill in.
