Clark with a sweet rip vs LG #75 and chases down Keenum. Clark probably playing run on that, but nice pursuit speed. Game between Clay/Lowry kind of works. Double A gap blitz, fake rush from perry makes me think Clay is doing the same. Good playcall vs this for Minny. Old version of clay makes this tackle. Clay has to pursue the run, Evans... not so much. Good throw by Keenum to put it Just over Brice's head. 2-3-GB 8(8:37) (No Huddle, Shotgun) 7-C.Keenum pass short middle to 82-K.Rudolph to GB 2 for 6 yards (21-H.Clinton-Dix). This is clearly on Clay. He doesn't have responsibility for the back, but goes out with him anyway and shuffles around doing nothing. HHCD great play flying in to stop the TD here coming from across the formation and 5 yards deep. 2-3-GB 3(7:32) (Shotgun) 7-C.Keenum pass incomplete short right. GB-24-Q.Rollins was injured during the play. Lowry's best play, fights past 2 guys and pursues keenum well. 2-11-MIN 17(5:10) (Shotgun) 7-C.Keenum pass short middle to 82-K.Rudolph to MIN 18 for 1 yard (41-L.Pipkins). Clark is coming HOT on this one forcing a dump off. 3-10-MIN 18(4:36) (Shotgun) 7-C.Keenum pass deep right to 19-A.Thielen to MIN 38 for 20 yards (29-K.Brice). Green Bay challenged the pass completion ruling, and the play was Upheld. The ruling on the field was confirmed. (Timeout #2.) Good rush by Perry, Keenum's best throw by far of the night getting it between Randall and Brice in Cover 2. Especially since I think everyone had written off Martinez coming into this season. squire12 Posted October 18, 2017 Share Posted October 18, 2017 That 1st clip/play, Clay cannot lose outside leverage and allow Keenum to escape outside with a CB blitz from his opposite. Every game you see a couple plays called against GB that expose Clays agressiveness to not cover his responsibility and play undisciplined. That 6th to last video is a good example. I just wanted to look at the DL and pressure concepts since there was a lot of chatter here that it was a disappointing game for the D due to no sacks and no pressure. My gut said that we got pressure but not sacks. Looking at the tape... we didn't get that much pressure, and Keenum just got the ball out on time every time, whether that was a good idea or not... that's not very clear.
