Suns are what the Jazz should've built, pulling for y'all to sweep these dudes.

NYRaider
Cousins didn't even play the last 4 games of our series and Zubac averaged 11 mpg in their 4 wins. Those two played 31 minutes combined tonight. Man it must be nice to have a center who can make a layup.

J-ALL-DAY
Missed the 2nd half, was it just that Booker was too good or did the Clippers did just tire at the end?? Clippers are going to start their third consecutive series down 0-2 or what??

Lue also wasn't able to implement his small ball strategy that got guys wide open 3's every possession like he did in round 1/2 because Ayton was scoring so he had to play Zubac and Cousins. Thelonebillsfan
Series comes down to if Lue can find a way to stop Ayton or not.

Morris got hurt for a stretch there. Not sure how many minutes he logged in the second half - but Morris was a critical piece in destroying Utah. They made him (and Reggie) stars. PG's gonna get his points. The key to beating the Clips is to keep the guys that shouldnt get off - cause they normally dont get off - from getting off. Utah didnt do that. PG did his thing - but others buried the Jazz.

The issue for the Jazz was that our entire defensive strategy was exposed by their small ball tactics. Bojan, Ingles, Don on leg, aren't good individual defenders. So the Clippers would just hunt guys by setting screens and exploiting matchups in isolation. Typically that would be fine in the regular season because our defensive philosophy was to funnel guys into Rudy's help defense. But since the Clippers had 5 small guys on the floor Rudy was forced to guard on the perimeter and whenever he came to help someone was wide open for 3 which is why Mann just had the greatest game of his life. If Rudy would've been able to dominate the glass and score points, he would've forced Lue to bring in a big, but he didn't. The Suns on the other hand have defenders that can switch 2-4 with Booker, Bridges, and Crowder plus Ayton is much more mobile than Rudy. And as we saw today Ayton can score and punished their small ball lineup which forced Lue to play Cousins/Zubac for 31 minutes tonight when those two combined for 14 minutes in the final two games of our series.

And hopefully bring Conley back or we're screwed.

I've not made a study of it, but it seemed that whomever Bojan covered - suddenly was finding the bottom of the net.
