Current thought is this:

4 Mini Divisions:

A) Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina

B) Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Vanderbilt

C) LSU, Miss State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M

D) Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas

  • 9 Game Conference Schedule
    • 3 teams in your mini Division
    • 2 teams per each other mini division
      • Every Team host at least once per Season
        • Expect Florida / Georgia & Texas / Oklahoma to maintain neutrality.

Let's say we Add:

Ohio State, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia & lose Texas A&M. for a 20 team Super Conference

Group A [South East]

  1. Florida
  2. Georgia
  3. South Carolina
  4. North Carolina
  5. Tennessee

Group B [North East]

  1. Ohio State
  2. Michigan
  3. West Virginia
  4. Kentucky
  5. Virginia

Group C [South]

  1. Alabama
  2. Vanderbilt
  3. Auburn
  4. Ole Miss
  5. Mississippi State

Group D [South West]

  1. Texas
  2. Oklahoma
  3. LSU
  4. Arkansas
  5. Missouri

I like.

SEC and the B2G are gonna be the last two power house conferences standing.

Although. Does USC still go if Michigan and Ohio State bolt?

I think the reason these talks are happening is to help ensure that they stay. Given the relationship that USC has with Michigan, I don’t think they’d jump to the B1G if Michigan is a threat to leave.

I like Texas moving to the SEC. Just as much as it can be bad for Texas. It can also be just as good for Texas.

It’ll be great from a monetary and recruiting perspective, but likely not in wins/losses. Texas doesn’t have anywhere near the level of talent as the big boys in the SEC. At best, they’ll be a middle of the pack team.

Maybe not currently but if/when Texas does get the same big boys they'll start competing with the top dawgs. All it takes is a great QB
