I have Gurley, Martin and CJ Anderson. I dropped Crowell and picked up Johnson to stash. The idea of rolling to the playoffs with Gurley and Johnson was too tempting. Smart move? Yay or nay? Great move I tried to be patient with him because i drafted him pretty high (3rd round) and it's a standard league. I started him in week 1 and quickly benched him for CJ Anderson. I don't think he'll come back unless the cards are a playoff contender and with Palmer out now he's done for the year IMO. You can hold out hope but most likely he won't play again this season. Forge Posted October 30, 2017 Share Posted October 30, 2017 There's no harm in it, particularly if you aren't playing, or have no plans to play the guy you are dropping for him. I'm not so sure that they bring DJ back this year (I mean, why should they in a lost season), but you never know, and he definitely has the talent to justify the stash. Like everyone was saying, he's not going to play in a lost season. Stefania Bell had a good take on it on her podcast where she interviewed a hand and wrist specialist.
