onejayhawk
In a week where everything has looked back, we have Mahomes looking forward.https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2021/09/23/kansas-city-chiefs-patrick-mahomes-excited-first-afc-west-game-los-angeles-chargers/
Kirill
IDK why our team is acting like Dan Sorensen is a great player. He's just a guy these guys fall off randomly all the time. They're comparing him starting slow to last season but this isn't a star player like that the leash has to be short. Juan Thornhill is a playmaker man we're going to get ran on regardless those extra opportunities to give Mahomes the football are more worth the deficit in the run game. Kirill
Just noticed Cameron Erving is starting at LT for the Panthers. Surprised they’re doing so well then definitely expecting them to fall off soon
onejayhawk
Injury reports. Clark was never 100% and appears to a new injury. Charvarius Ward would be a loss against the Chargers. If he can't go, Hughes plays outside the full game and we get a dose of Fenton as the nickel. This is a situation where Thornhill can shine. Soggust
We need Jones, obviously. Ward's not a great player, but a concerning loss given the lack of depth behind him. I'm fully on board the Frank Clark is a bum train. We can just have a parking attendant fill in for him and give up big plays.
onejayhawk
Finally some activity. it only took all week. Beat writers predictions.https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/lists/kansas-city-chiefs-vs-los-angeles-chargers-week-3-staff-scoring-predictions/ Players to watch.https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/lists/kansas-city-chiefs-los-angeles-chargers-six-players-to-watch-week-3/ This one is interesting, their red zone offense against our RZ defense.https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2021/9/25/22689181/opponent-scout-chargers-red-zone-offense-matches-chiefs-red-zone-defense Not football, but game related.https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2021/9/25/22689181/opponent-scout-chargers-red-zone-offense-matches-chiefs-red-zone-defense

I'm holding out hope he will still perform in the playoffs if nothing else to secure the bag with his next team this offseason. And because he's still a proven playoff performer. onejayhawk
Remember we were up against one of the best teams in the NFL. The defense matches up much better this week, though it would match up better with Ward. This article starts with the words, "Take a Deep Breath."https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2021/9/25/22691781/take-a-deep-breath-theres-no-reason-to-panic-about-the-kansas-city-chiefs-defense What I want to see is the running game getting started. Mahomes proved he can play with a crew of WR if Hill and Kelce are doubled. I'd like to see the RB get involved. A little play action would be nice as well. BigTrav
It's a shame Frank Clark isnt playing. LAC have the worst RT situation in the league right now, it's not even as good as a turnstile. Still, we shouldn't need help. I think we blow the doors off this one, but not until the 4th Q Us by
BigTrav
OK just seen Clark is getting slated. I'm willing to listen to evidence? I think he's pretty good....
onejayhawk
With Clark out, Danna gets a week to show what he can do and Kaindoh might see the field. Unlike last week, this one is all about pass rush. J
