Yeah. Plus, Ramsey elevated his play. Although, he wasn't underrated.

Was Fowler even underrated compared to what he did for you guys?

And Jalen was always going to be this good. Elite physical skills, had already been the best CB in the league two out of the 3.25 seasons he played for us. Was only 24. Every one of us expected that from him.
and now I’m sad.

Fowler is a weird case of being like...underrated/overrated at the same time.

He was underrated as a whole i think.  But at the same time, overrated based on the "free sacks" he cleaned up with Sacksonville, that were clearly him just being given an opportunity to use his gifts in a straightforward enough way that he could handle it and thrive.

He had double-digit sacks and landed a huge contract (and a comp pick for us).

Almost like the highlights of 3 games doesn’t a career make. Who’d have thunk it.

I didn't watch any of those games or the highlights/lowlights tbh.

Watching this game, I have zero concern about Trevor Lawrence as a player. He'll be a good one.

Yeah.  For all the misery of being a Jaguars fan...and how terrible these first games have been...I've still come away with absolutely zero concern about Lawrence long-term.  He's just, something we've never seen in a Jaguars uniform.  There are bumps in the road, and there's learning and mistakes and all that.  But the raw ability is just something we've never seen in teal.  And his presence and command of the situation, even in a loss, and even when making mistakes...is very different from the other assorted trash we've cycled through over the years.

Seems about the player he was for us once he wasn’t the focal point of the OL.

And yeah. Some others suggested they didn’t think Lawrence looked good. Off of highlights.
