Week 9 Prospect Talk

I've been busy the past few weeks and slacked on putting up the prospect talk threads so I'm making sure to do it early this time to make sure it's up. Some very cool matchups this weekend I'm looking forward to. One I'm definitely looking forward to is Penn State cornerbacks Tariq Castro-Fields and Joey Porter Jr. as well as Penn State safety Jaquan Brisker vs Ohio State wide receivers Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson. This will be a big test for the Penn State secondary against two top tier wide receivers and a good quarterback. Another interesting test will be Kenneth Walker III against the Michigan defense, which is 24th in the country in rushing yards allowed.

Let me know what matchups or prospects you guys are most interested in watching on Saturday.

Not a good game for Pickett, but he still threw for over 500 yards and 3 td's. He has the best lows of the draft eligible QB's. And I think he's got the best footwork in the pocket, along with the best feel for how the pocket is breaking down around him. That freaking arm tho. Why does he have a Jalen Hurts arm? Granted, he's much more accurate than Hurts, but that average at best arm just ruins it for me. If Kenny Pickett was one of the 32 NFL starting QB's, I'm pretty sure he would have the 32nd strongest arm of the group, or he'd be tied for 31st with Hurts. He's Drew Brees in his final 2 years. Such a bummer, because I really like everything else about him. If he had Carson Strong's arm (which is overrated but still good enough for the NFL) he would be the easy bet for #1 pick.
