Graziano: According to multiple sources, the Raiders and Vikings both reached out to former Colts and Lions coach Jim Caldwell this week to request to interview him, and he declined both requests.

The next sentence mentions that it could be a sign he's confident he's going to get one of the other jobs he interviewed for.

Right. Another point is that he might want to go to a team with a young QB already in place. CHI and JAX both have that; Raiders and Vikings do not.

Not if you’re intent on developing your young QB.

Hasn’t it been multiple years now that he’s been out of the league? Stafford was already developed when he took the Lions HC job, but even then, Stafford is not without his own warts, he’s basically what we have already in Cousins. Who did he develop in his last stint in Miami?

I didn't want Caldwell either, but the guy knows the situation this franchise is in.

Meh, I don't think its that deep. Look at who he accepted interviews with: Bears and Jags. Look who he said no to: Raiders and Vikings.

Bears and Jags have young QBs in place. Raiders and Vikings have veterans. It seems like he wants a young QB in place.

Stafford was not fully developed. Before Stafford got their he was just a deep ball gunslinger. Caldwell helped him reel it in and he became a far more efficient QB, and had the best 4 year stretch of his career.

But you don’t look at someone like Caldwell to fix a veteran QB like Cousins. The purpose of a coach like Caldwell is to make sure the HC and QB have a working relationship. That the two most important people in the locker room are on the same page and have a single vision.
