Lions017 Posted December 19, 2022 Share Posted December 19, 2022 Don't hate it...actually kind of like it. With the shift being banned defense is going to matter more than the last few years. It's the best defensive MIF in baseball now, with Hoerner moving to 2B. But there still isn't any offense..... Very "meh" on this deal. Swanson is young to where a 7 year deal isn't going to be cringeworthy at the end, but I hate giving any kind of sizeable deal to a guy without plus offensive production.
