holt_bruce81
Draft tonight!! Since the Rams left St. Louis it seems like every year I get Less and less interested with the NFL Draft and more interested with the MLB one. Since Randy Flores took over the Cardinals have definitely taken more risk in the draft. Ethan Hankins and Seth Beer are two guys that I really Want us to draft. Most things I read seem to have us linked to 3 players, all college arms... 1. Jackson Kowar 2. Logan Gilbert 3. Ryan Rolison

I like the idea of drafting hitters this year. We've got loads of young arms, lets get some guys who can rake. Easier said than done, obvi. kgarrett12486
Anyone see Marcell Ozuna's comments after the game? He said it's 1st home series his wife and daughter have been able to attend. Said he always plays better in front of them... Time to get them season tickets...

Ryan Rolison I always wished I could get into the MLB draft more, but the lack of resources kills it for me. Almost all of what you're getting is second hand. And most of the good guys who have covered the draft are getting plucked up by major league teams. From what I've seen, I don't want anything to do with Rolison. Seems like Austin Gomber all over again. Kowar seems interesting from what I've skimmed, and Gilbert seems like the normal Cardinals' pick. But some of the guys I do Like... 1. Xavier Edwards SS 2. Parker Meadows OF 3. Seth Beer 1B 4. Anthony Seigler C 5. Connor Scott OF
MOSteelers56
Looks like we got Nolan Gorman with our first pick. Solid glove at SS/3B, very good power potential and he hits left handed. Looks like a potential stud.
holt_bruce81
Love the draft so far. Some big time power potential.

That's probably the biggest weakness in our system, and I like that they're addressing it.
chris00cm
A very foward-looking first two rounds so far. What's winning in the league right now? The home run and slider. Leaving the first two rounds with two of the most hyped power bats and a guy regarded to have the best slider in the draft (can also find Gorman here) is a massive victory. chris00cm
Thankfully, gone are the days of the "safe" bats like Brett Wallace, Zack Cox, Kolten Wong, etc.
kgarrett12486
Sounds like Gorman has a good shot to stick at 3B. The bat looks legit... Griffen could be closer of the future...
MOSteelers56
I’m leery of this giant 1B guy we took out of TCU. I hope he slims down a little and improves his fielding. 1B only prospects are scary. At least he can rake.
