gopherwrestler
Making a thread for this so it’s not going to fill up other threads. Nice talking point for the mid-week. Can he play WR as a 3?
gopherwrestler
What’s his returning stats vs someone like Kene and Reagor? Is he PR only?

I'm not counting on much from a WR standpoint, probably a WR4 or WR5 type. I'm still holding out hope Reagor can take the a step forward with Coach McCardell.
gopherwrestler
Do we get any cap relief if Reagor is cut?

Kene is too explosive to sideline as the KR, it is his job IMO. I think he's purely a PR for us, unless Kene gets hurt. Powell KR stats - 57 returns, 1,199 yards, 0 TDs, 21.0 avg. Powell PR stats - 49/470/1/9.6 ----------------------------------------------------------------- Kene KR - 53/1,499/3/28.3 Reagor PR - 61/488/1/8.0

Doesn't look like it and we would incur $2.419M in dead money. I think Reagor's spot is pretty safe, right now, as we don't have much at WR behind JJ and KJ. Maybe they think he can be a starter.

That's fine, but I personally don't think a separate thread was warranted for a guy who may not even end up making the team. 😂

PrplChilPill
Interesting signing. Seems redundant with Raegor (sp?).....or unlikely to make the team.

His only PR TD came against the Vikings in a season where they had the 8th worst punt coverage in the NFL (according to FootballOutsiders). I'm not sure how impressive that really was. And in the video I attached, it was basically a straight shot down the sideline. I could have returned that for a TD. 😉

Don't get me wrong I'm curious to see what Kene could do with some RB snaps as well.
