Why not, let's give this a go with combine and the major free agency moves in the book.

Rules:

There are two polls - your first choice will count as 2pts, your second as 1pt. If players have the same score after 24 hours, the pick will go to the player with the most first place votes.

I will take poll options from the website below, which aggregates all media big boards - so if your guy isn't on the board, don't blame me.

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2023/consensus-big-board-2023?pos=ALL

Your vote can be who you would take, or who you think the team will take - it doesn't matter.

Draft Order:

1. Carolina Panthers - C.J. Stroud | QB | Ohio State

2. Houston Texans - Bryce Young | QB | Alabama

3. Arizona Cardinals - Will Anderson | EDGE | Alabama

4. Indianapolis Colts - Anthony Richardson | QB | Florida

5. Seattle Seahawks - Jalen Carter | DL | Georgia

6. Detroit Lions - Christian Gonzalez | CB | Oregon

7.  Las Vegas Raiders - Devon Witherspoon | CB | Illinois

8.  Atlanta Falcons - Tyree Wilson | EDGE | Texas Tech

9.  Chicago Bears - Paris Johnson Jr. | OT | Ohio State

10. Philadelphia Eagles - Myles Murphy | Edge | Clemson

11. Tennessee Titans - Broderick Jones | OT | Georgia

12. Houston Texans - Jaxon Smith-Njigba | WR | Ohio State

13. New York Jets - Peter Skoronski | OT | Northwestern

14. New England Patriots -

Darnell Wright would be a no-brainer for me if I was picking btw. If I had to guess where they look, Brian Branch fits the smart & versatile prospect profile they covet and plays for a team BB has links with (this is important to him). Similarly Lukas Van Ness would get a close look, given his skill-set meshes pretty well with our front and Ferentz is a close friend at Iowa. Other than that, Pats got close to a bunch of players at the Shrine Bowl including Zay Flowers. That definitely will have an impact on their board this year, which is usually tiny compared to most teams.

I agree with your point above regarding OTs, my point is more that I think this team has a ton of holes.

If BB passes on OT, WR, Edge to take a safety in R1, he might get let go after this season.

I voted 1. Jordan Addison 2. Lukas Van Ness

I feel like Addison would be such a major piece to getting Mac Jones back on track that it'd be hard to pass up. If there is a Devonta Smith-y type of prospect in this class I feel like Addison is it (though JSN is probably WR1) and I'd want to invest in hopefully recreating a little of that type of magic if possible. Lukas Van Ness feels like the pick and why I cast it as my second vote. I agree Darnell Wright makes a tremendous amount of sense as well, but I also think targeting someone like Freeland from BYU a round or three later would work based off the athleticism of their last first round pick OL.

No faith in Brown / Reif?

Reilly Reiff always misses time and is 35 and is a new addition to the team (from Chicago last year), I'd think that's the one to replace/insure. I felt like a weapon to stop the rookie contract QB's regression is priority one, but a screw it run the ball down everyones throat behind a first round RT makes sense too.

Yeah it’s not a good roster, but I think the hole at tackle is the most egregious. Regardless, BB will stick to his guns, override the scouting department for the tenth season running and take the player he feels most comfortable with for whatever reason.
