Yup JD you’re stepping into the get fired crew now. I've always thought he was a good GM but this move is just plan poor on his part. The only reason they signed him is to fill the QB 3 spot and not be a threat to Wilson starting job. This staff is putting Wilson over the team and no one likes it. I guess I'm hoping for a 1 win season again. His plan was bad from the beginning. They never should have had Zach Wilson one injury away from being on the field. The “reset” thing is BS. If they actually wanted to reset him, they would have had a plan in place to not further destroy him like they are now. Now he’s completely shot and needs to be cut at seasons end. But I will say his coaching seems horrendous as well. Namath nailed it, he’s playing like he’s being coached. It’s being drilled into him not to turn the ball over and take easy throws that he’s essentially going through his reads backwards. He’s looking for the safety valve and it’s why all of these plays are being left down the field. For the people saying the OL is the problem your 100% wrong. Last week he had plenty of time on several plays and made poor decisions. If they had an average QB (Wentz, Ryan) they would have won the Pats game by 2 TD's. Tippman in his first start was graded 4h best last week in pass protection. Cimini explained the team’s stout defense is especially irked and there is tension in the locker room. Trevor Siemian was signed, but that barely helps the QB issues without Aaron Rodgers. Wilson’s play has set the locker room on fire and Saleh has a decision to make about the non-improving third-year QB. This locker room is not falling apart it is apart. The D players are pissed at Wilosn and GW is showing his anger too on the sidelines, SMH. Saleh has to be fired this year if he keeps rolling out Wilson. The letter was interestingly released by rapper J. Cole and contains Kaepernick’s arguments on why he would be a good addition for the Jets. He added Jim and John Harbaugh, Chip Kelly, and Mark Davis as references in the message. The 35-year-old last played for the 49ers in 2016, staying in the limelight for his social justice activities and workouts to return to play over the years. You know it is bad when Kaep comes knocking on your door for a job. This guy was so bad when he tried out last time you could not even see his workouts on MSM becasue it was so bad. Look at SF. They knew they couldn’t afford to let Lance take the field even with their guy coming off surgery with a loaded team so they signed Darnold. Then they realized they’d seen enough and traded their bust. Douglas and Saleh backed themselves into a corner the moment they openly declared ZW QB2 before OTAs even started. Lions turned around at 1-6 last year. Kurt Warner went from nobody to a hall of famer. (Tim Boyle) Geno Smith finally made himself useful in NFL in his 30's. (Trevor Siemian) Those facts show that anything is possible for Jets despite being "Same Old Jets". All whines or complaints should come from fans, Namath included. Not team. If it is indeed a fact that the team cried like newborns then Jets need to clean the house once again as well as Rodgers will say hola! to Jets. I don't buy Cimini's bs. Now it becomes more clear that signing Dalvin Cook was terribly mistaken. No, that is not because of Jets needing extra OT. His 8m could make it possible for Jets to invite/sign Carson Wentz (13-15m max). Jets signed Trevor Siemian to practice squad at reasonable price as a result. Joe Douglas is responsible for that.
