This is the top 16 OT's according to PFNs current big board. Snap counts include 2022 and 2023 (YTD).

I've bolded players that are in the 70's+ in Overall, Pass Blocking and Run Blocking.

No idea why guys like Beebe and Zinter are listed in the OT group despite playing guard for the majority of their careers. However, they're listed so they've been included.

I think I found the one (based on the red graphics).

Franklin is probably ranked where he'll go (late 1st to 2nd). Coleman is vastly undervalued here and is going to be in the same range as Franklin IMO.

As much as I liked KJ last year, he's going to have a tough go if things keep going the way they have so far. I've checked out his stats week to week and they haven't been pretty.

Agree on the first two points, the third I am not as down on Jefferson as you this year.  He has a new OC, Dan Enos, who was never great when at MSU or CMU.  He lost his C to the draft, both tackles graduated, and a new RG so 1 returning lineman.  His completion percentage and rating are similar to previous years but he is getting hit a lot (7 sacks last game).  He needs to control the INTs (4 in the last 3 games) but if he does that he should be fine.  Its about arm talent with him similar to Levis and Richardson last year.  His draft status will likely be higher than his stats show they should be.  I would love to still take a chance on him in the mid rounds depending on how Hooker looks just to have a younger project (will be 23 in May) even if not super young.

Combination of PFF/PFN's top 26 OL (not including OC's).

I feel like the Lions really need 3 OL spots addressed for future success

1) Decker's replacement at LT: The Lions need to find the next anchor at LT for our offense. Decker isn't the player that he was and he's going to need to be replaced sooner rather than later. Is that player Penei Sewell? He hasn't shown to play at best on the left side.

2) Right Guard: We need a long-term solution to the RG spot. Vaitai isn't the dude. Sorsdal feels like he could eventually play that #6OL spot and fill in at either OT or OG when needed. I don't know if he's going to be a starter for us.

3) Back-Up OC: Ragnow is one of our best OL in the whole group but has battled injuries. If he goes down, it feels like it's going to be a massive loss. Ideally, this player is either someone like Sorsdal, Jonah Jackson (assuming he comes back on a new contract) or the player we add to play RG.

So items' 2 and 3 could be solved by one dude or by someone already on the roster.

This was why I wanted the dude from OSU last year with our first pick. Get the early on best OL with our premium picks from the Stafford trade. Seemed like the best long term ROI we could of had if Carter wasn’t going to be the pick.

I haven’t been watching Arizona this year so I have no idea how he’s panning out, but we need to take care of the ol because our success is tied to this position group.

I think some of this will be influenced by whether or not the Lions get an extension done with Jonah Jackson.  Colbly Sorsdal seems like the heir apparent at RG but of Jonah Jackson isn't re-signed we will have a huge hole at LG.

I feel like he's going to get signed. The Lions can open up $15M of cap room by cutting Decker with a post-June 1st designation. We've got quite a bit of cap room to play with although there's guys like Goff, ARSB and Jonah Jackson that should be getting contracts.

OVR grade on Paris Johnson is a 54.8.

The Cardinals aren't a great team right now so it's possible that he's just a good player in a terrible situation.

I haven't watched him but he does have a 54.8 PFF grade, good enough for 57th qualified OT.  So not great but its early and if he was playing OG, then it may be better.  Side note, we would not likely have one of Laporta or Branch (or both given extra resources allowed us to move up for Branch) if we did not trade down with AZ.

I think Sewell would be fine at LT if he had an offseason preparing for it.  He has been on the right side all off season and then switches over on a game by game basis, which is pretty impressive if you ask me.  He was drafted as a dominant LT, and if needed I am sure he will be fine there full time with preparation.

That being said, I agree we have 2/3 spots we need to fill and that OL is our weakest depth position outside of DT which is the weakest starting position as well.  Will be interesting to see if Sorsdal gets much burn this year and how he develops.  He did come from a small school so having a little longer development makes sense, but I would like to see some growth so that he doesn't turn into Stenberg.

Ragnow makes me nervous, he is playing elite again and C's can last a while but that toe sounds like it will always be a problem.  Always good to have some options behind him.

I am not forcing OL picks this draft but they need to make shrewd moves like Glasgow in free agency if they don't.  I'd love more youth and development potential on the OL but also know that in the NFL you can't have that everywhere.

The next positions are CB and S.  Branch appears to be a nickel CB more than a S and CJGJ and Mosely are on one year deals.  CJGJ may resign since he didnt get a chance to showcase himself but if not that will be a need.  Iffy will be a free agent after next year as well and Walker is aging so making sure we keep the back a strength will be huge.  At CB obviously adding talent is needed.  Even though we are significantly better and have more depth, Jacobs could be upgraded and will need a contract soon and Mosely as I mentioned is on a 1 year deal.

Then DT after that.  We have had some solid play the last couple of weeks but still could use a long term upgrade.

A lot of intriguing guys on this list.  I like some of the small school prospects like Haynes and Amegadjie as well as Zinter and Foster given their high grades in both run and pass blocking.  Patrick Paul is intriguing as well.  I don't like the guys who are 75+ in one cat and sub 60 in the other.

Same here.

I really like Haynes and Patrick Paul is standing out as an interesting guy. Zinter is another guy that's intriguing. I don't try to avoid local prospects but I do also try to not over value them and sometimes will look more towards an alternative option. I'm not a UM guy but I don't want to get too hooked into the "he's local and the Lions will know him inside and out".

@Karnage84 I just did a mock on PFN and the results would fit your requests. I made a couple small trades to add an extra mid round pick.

1.27 - Leonard Taylor, DT Miami (FL)

2.58 - Decorian Patterson, CB UCF

3.67 - J.T. Tuimoloau, EDGE/DL OSU

3.76 - Patrick Paul, OT Houston

4.107 - Johnny Wilson, WR FSU

5.153 - Drake Nugent, OC Michigan

6.188 - Javon Foster, OT Missouri

Would add to the DL with two studs, a top CB prospect who likely will go higher than this, 3 OL with one of Paul or Foster being able to kick inside to OG, and a big (6'6") WR who has speed.  Would need to re-up CJGJ at S but this would be a very solid result IMO.
