It is only a 1 year deal. I'm fine with it.

So the Ravens were never in touch with D Hop or never made him an offer? If you can clarify what the Ravens offered or if they never made an offer to D Hop that would be helpful. Lamar was still conducting everything, for some reason. The clock was still winding down, WITH A TIMEOUT STILL IN OUR POCKET, FOR SOME REASON Nothing about this makes sense. JUST CALL THE TIMEOUT AND KICK THE FG??????? Nah it makes sense, you don't call the TO until there is :01 left on the play clock because then the Steelers don't have any time left in the half. But if you don't keep the offense on the field then the Steelers call a TO.

Yeah reading through Linderbaum's comments it seems to really be a missed offsides by the refs, but also just a gaffe by Linderbaum more than anything. Just another "of course that happens to us" thing.

AngusMcFife
If anyone is curious the Ravens had a 90% win probability in the 4th quarter after the Steeler fumble. Likewise the Ravens had a 86% win probability in the 4th quarter of the Colts loss as well. At this point it seems like a common feature of Harbaugh's teams to be inept situational teams that find a way to lose. I'd like to think this trend started in 2021 (and we blamed it on injuries) but maybe it began in 2013.

Lamar throws a freaking 50/50 jump ball to an injured OBJ against a 6'2 CB in a situation where throwing an INT is literally the only thing that you CANNOT DO. His decision making is just so questionable. Idk if that can be coached out of him, to be honest. It just came at the worst time. Lamar really diced up the Steelers in the 1st half. If the WRs caught the ball we would have put up 21+ points in the first half alone and it would have been a blowout.

Not specifically defending the throw you are talking about, but we have to actively make plays to win the big playoff games. We should not be optimizing for beating the Steelers in week 5. We don't want to settle for going up 5 if Patrick Mahomes is about to come on to the field. If we miss on all the aggressive offensive plays we missed on today, then we are getting blown out in the playoffs. It was a bad ball but that was correct read, obj shouldn't even be used for that though, monken should only use aghlor for it, obj clearly not it, but also funny seeing your tone change tryna find a reason to blame lamar for the missed g opportunity to being okay with it since its linderbeaum

OBJ against a 6'2 corner is NOT a good jump ball scenario. Furthermore, situational awareness. If you're taking that (again, it's low percentage to start) you HAVE TO MISS where the CB can't make a play on it. Otherwise, if you're being aggressive, WHY ARE YOU NOT THINKING MARK ANDREWS IS A BETTER JUMP BALL TARGET?

Thats something monken shouldn't do then, clearly that was the go to, it was a bad ball ,but even bad personal obj isnt even a wr3 on actual teams. leave the jump balls to aggy. And just like edc going for ojabo over pickens bad choice taking obj over dhop
