Well luckily it doesn't matter if they lose this game.

A loss would have no impact on playoffs since it's not division or conference......

But that being said I honestly think they need to show they can bounce back. If they lose this one the Same Ole Lions talk will be in full force

This is an important game to get the momentum back before the bye week.  Going into the bye on a two game losing streak with a loss to the lowly Raiders would be rough.

As of now, we are the only team currently in a playoff spot to have played three other teams in the playoffs so we have had a tougher schedule and it gets easier from here on out and because of that its important that we take care of business against the teams we are supposed to beat.

Monday night in Vegas which will likely be 50% Lions fans should be a fun atmosphere.

We really haven't talked about it much but how or if the Lions bounce back the Raiders is how this will test the locker room leadership.  This is a young team but unlike years past they do have tone-setters.  For me, Aidan Hutchinson, Penei Sewell and Jared Goff need be the leaders who keep the Lions from losing consecutive games.  That is especially true with Penei Sewell.  He is going to see a lot of Maxx Crosby so he really needs to bring his A-Game

Maybe this will be the game where Brodric Martin is active and gets some snaps.  With Isaiah Buggs has been our most consistent interior D-Lineman to this point.  He has been working through training camp and 7-week of the regular season.  Personally, I don't see a reason to keep him inactive.  Give him some snaps against a not-great Raiders team and see where things go.
